In September 2023, Schuylkill Hope Center (formerly Schuylkill Women in Crisis) reached our 40th anniversary of offering domestic violence victims the safety, housing, healing, and empowerment they need! Through our 40 years, more than 40,000 lives have been beneficially touched.
Sadly, it is also true that domestic violence has never gone away and every year the number of individuals reaching out to us for help and hope continues to grow. With open arms, we welcome every single victim and know that the increase in services provided is a positive sign that those in need are learning of and using our services in their courageous journey to become survivors.
As we celebrate the success of 40 years making a difference in the lives of more than 40,000, we are tempered with the realization that the agency is at a pivotal point of existence. Increased need for our help demands increased funding to sustain the comprehensive level of services we currently offer Schuylkill County domestic abuse victims!
Help us celebrate our 40th anniversary and ensure that the LIFE-SAVING services we offer continue to be available to victims cost-free. PLEASE consider making a direct donation to Schuylkill Hope Center knowing that every penny donated is used right here in Schuylkill County!
Choose a celebratory donation that includes a “40” or any other amount you can afford to contribute and enjoy the incredible honor and satisfaction of knowing you will be a direct part of changing the life of a victim in Schuylkill County. An investment made in the lives of domestic violence survivors enriches our community and plays a vital role in creating a more peaceful county for us all!
